"After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." Aldous Huxley

Ms Culpeper understands that every lesson is important and every students has different goals. Below are some general areas of music study. They often overlap for example,  if a student chooses to take RCM exams, they are still encouraged to explore other learning such as how to read lead sheets.  A student may excel at reading music and play what others have composed then further explore creating their own music.  With Music , as in life, what you get out of it depends on what you put into it.

RCM or CC Exam Preparation

Both the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM ) and Conservatory Canada ( CC) are recognized examining bodies within Canada . Exams systems help many students set clear goals, strive for excellence and can earn High School Credit. Please see RCM/CC page for more information on this process.
